Session 1: Diploma Core

{Experience Level: Beginner-Intermediate}

There is a wide diversity in the approach taken by schools to lead and manage the IB Diploma Core. In some smaller schools, just one person may be responsible for CAS, TOK and the Extended Essay, whereas other schools may have an entire team of people, including support staff. This discussion-based workshop will facilitate the sharing of good practice for the delivery of the IB Diploma Core and will consider how ManageBac can best be used to support students during their IB journey.

Session 2: Academic Honesty & TurnItIn

{Experience Level: Beginner-Intermediate}

This interactive workshop will begin by discussing what constitutes academic honesty. Through looking at academic research and guidance from the International Baccalaureate, teachers will then consider how best to educate students in the skills required for academic honesty. The final part of the workshop will examine how the TurnItIn integration with ManageBac can be used to support academic honesty in schools.
